Our products are all designed and sized in accordance with Australian Standards.
When choosing one of our baby sleep products, if you measure your baby using the Australian Growth Charts and baby measures much greater than the 50th percentile, consider choosing the next size up, or if baby is much lower than the 50th percentile, consider a smaller size.
For example, if baby is born and measures on the 100th percentile, consider our 2-6 month Baby Sleeping Bag rather than our Merineo Newborn Swaddle Bag.
For our range of clothing, refer to our Size Tips and our Size Chart on the relevant product page.
Wool is a natural, sustainable and biodegradable fibre. Merino sheep grow lovely, soft wool, and superfine means exactly that - Super Fine. The fibres are fine (not coarse). It's soft to touch with luxurious next to skin comfort. Merineo uses premium superfine merino wool.
It's a highly breathable, Italian made fabric, that's really stretchy. and great for keeping baby comfortable. It's made from 17.5 micron merino wool, the micron being the fibre diameter.
We carefully selected this fabric for eczema sufferers, because the research done by Woolmark showed that children wearing soft 17.5 merino had reduced eczema symptoms when wearing this fibre on their skin.
