Sustainable packaging has become more popular in Australia in the last couple of years with the introduction of laws banning certain types of plastic shopping bags, but there is still some way to go. For our baby sleeping bags and children's clothing, we proudly use eco-friendly packaging, designed for reuse, as a way of influencing change and reducing the impact discarded packaging has on our planet.

Cardboard boxes
Our boxes are made locally in Melbourne, with the cardboard officially certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The cardboard is made from a mix of FSC certified forests, recycled materials and FSC controlled wood. Whilst controlled wood is not from FSC certified forests, it mitigates the risk of the material originating from unacceptable sources.
The FSC is an international not-for-profit organisation established in 1994 and its mission is to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
We encourage recycling by using boxes that are as durable as possible to make them perfect for reusing, like storing trinkets or photographs.
We wrap our products in acid free tissue paper, which is compostable.
Calico drawstring bags
We also use drawstring bags to place our products in made from calico, an unbleached, unfinished fabric made from cotton fibres. Our bags are sourced locally in Melbourne and are high quality 130 gsm (grams per square metre), making them perfect for reusing, for example as a dustbag to store your favourite clutch or wallet. We use grosgrain branded ribbon as a trim on our calico bags.
